Technical Visit 1 – Half-day Visit to the Air Traffic Control Centre
Time: 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Pick up from: 11:45am at University Station
The Air Traffic Control Centre, equipped with advanced radar displays and modern communication equipment, provides approach control and area control services to traffic in the Hong Kong Flight Information Region. Delegates will visit their Education Path, in which they can also take a look to the ATCC in operations at the viewing gallery.
Technical Visit 2 – Half-day Visit to the Express Rail link
Time: 10:00am – 12:30pm
Pick up from: 9:15am at University Station
The Hong Kong Section of the Guangdong-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail link is at an advanced stage of construction and passenger service is scheduled to commence in the 3rd quarter of 2018. Through this site visit, participants will learn about the latest progress of the project and preparations for future high-speed railway operations.
Technical Visit 3 – Harbour Infrastructure Tour
Time: 9:00am – 1:00pm

Victoria Harbour is one of the world’s most impressive natural harbours. Board the private boat and explore Hong Kong infrastructure with another kind of transport. Pass by Tsing Ma Bridge which is the world’s 11th-longest span suspension bridge, and was the second longest at time of completion. Then proceed to the best location where you can overlook the Hong Kong – Zhuhai – Macao Bridge (HZMB), being situated at the waters of Lingdingyang of Pearl River Estuary, is a large sea crossing linking the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), Zhuhai City of Guangdong Province and Macao Special Administrative Region. It consists of a Main Bridge in Mainland waters together with the boundary crossing facilities and link roads within the three places. The functions of the Bridge are to meet the demand of passenger and freight land transport among Hong Kong, the Mainland (particularly the region of Pearl River West) and Macao, to establish a new land transport link between the east and west banks of the Pearl River, and to enhance the economic and sustainable development of the three places.
Term and Condition
1. All participates can only register ONE technical visit.
2. All technical visits are served in FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVE BASIS.
3. Shuttle bus service will be provided.
