金边（高棉语：ក្រុងភ្នំពេញ，罗马化：krong Phnum Pɨñ，高棉语发音：[ˌkɾong pʰnʊm ˈpɨɲ]），旧译百囊奔，是柬埔寨的首都。金边也是柬埔寨最大都市，政治、经济、工业、文化、旅游中心。该城市位于湄公河、巴萨河、东萨河三条河流的交界，土质肥沃，适合农业。1960年代前，被西方称为“亚洲明珠”。

金边共有7个区，4个区在市中心，3个区在郊区，共有人口2,129,371。7个区共有76分区，637个村，平均人口密度为每平方公里5453.8人，是全国人口密度最高地区。

金边字面意思是“边山”。在高棉语中，“ភ្នំ”（Phnum）意思是“山”。此城的名字来源于今日金边的塔山寺。根据金边的建城神话，一位名叫“边夫人”的富有寡妇在一次风暴后发现一株自洞里萨湖上游漂流而来的石栗树。[2]在树的内部，他发现了四尊铜制佛像和一尊毗湿奴像。她命令村民在山上用石栗木建立了一座寺庙，用来供奉这些神像，这就是今日的塔山寺。
